Membership Requirement: Selected 3rd- 5th-grade students rehearse on Wednesdays from 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm. An audition and attendance at the parent meeting are required.
Financial Obligations/Dues: Purchase a Chorus T-shirt for $12. This is the chorus uniform. Students selected for Honor Chorus (5 grade only/auditions required) are required to pay a fee of $30 for a T-shirt and music.
The Mission/Purpose: To help students work together, develop their voices, and experience the joy of music-making through performance.
Planned Activities: Macon Mayhem Hockey Game, Centerville Fall Festival, Winter Showcase at the Museum of Aviation, Nursing Home Performance, CES Christmas Concert and Honor Chorus (5th grade members only)
Due to our limited time to prepare, it is crucial for students to attend all rehearsals. Any student who misses 3 rehearsals and/or 2 performances may be dismissed.
