Centerville Elementary School will be having a dance team this year. No tryouts required! The team will consist of third, fourth, and fifth grade boys and girls who will be demonstrating their dancing talents.
All practices will be held in the gym on Thursdays from 3:45-4:15 each week. We will escort dance team to the carpool ramp after practice dismisses. Any child not picked up by 4:30 will be sent to the Afterschool program, fees do apply.
Some events you and your child can look forward to include the Centerville Christmas Parade, the school Christmas program, Field day performance, and tentative skating rink performance. Attendance is required for all practice sessions. Poor attendance (3 or more absences) will eliminate the students from eligibility to participate. We will be very strict concerning each student being on time and having regular attendance.
The children are really fired up about the team, and we are sure it will be a positive experience for all of those who take advantage of this opportunity!
