Bio

Jessica Nixon is an experienced educator entering her 19th year in education. She spent 11 years teaching third grade and eight years teaching second grade before becoming the Assistant Principal of Instruction in July 2026. Throughout her career, Jessica has been committed to fostering academic excellence and supporting student growth.

Jessica earned a dual Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Middle Georgia State University. She later obtained her Master's Degree in Elementary Reading from Nova Southeastern University and continued her educational journey by earning a Specialist's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of West Georgia.

As an educator and instructional leader, Jessica is passionate about creating positive learning environments, supporting teachers, and helping students reach their full potential. She believes that strong partnerships among schools, families, and the community are essential for student success. Jessica looks forward to working with students, staff, and families throughout the school year.
